Ms. Ana-Maria Hota began her professional hair styling career at only 14 years old, when she attended The Academy of Hairdressing, in her native Zagreb, Croatia, Croatia. Here she learned under the mentorship of hairdressing world champion Ivica Vidakovic where she studied Hairdressing for three years. At just 16 years old participated in her first hairdressing competition and won second place in in the male hair cutting category.
Following her graduation from The Academy of Hairdressing in 2005, Ana-Maria received the qualification:
Certified Master Hairstylist and Teacher of Practical Training.
At 21 years old she opened her first hairdressing salon in Zagreb, after 8 years opened a second one, then 2 years after realized that Croatia has become far too small for her professional goals.
In 2013 in Zagreb, Ana-Marija, was working on a wide variety of projects. She took care of hairstyles on many fashion projects, magazines photo shoots and music videos…
Following interview she became official hairdresser for the seminar "Fotosofia 8", organised by renowned photographer Damir Hoyka, where she participated with photographers from the several countries in the region, fashion stylists, make-up artists, models and celebrities.
Further she worked on the project "Balloon Madness" which was observed in the Croatian media, and beyond.
The Spanish fashion portal, with more than 100, 000 members of the fashion world, wrote an article entitled:

about the project specially focused on haircuts, after which Ana-Marija received an offer of representation from modelmanagement.com - the first hairstylist to be represented by them. They offered her representation, and expressed the desire that Ana-Marija Hota should be the first hairdresser in the world whose services will publish on their website, side by side with the most renowned photographers from New York, London, Madrid...
In 2013, Ana-Maria, relocated to Dublin, Ireland.
After seven successful months in a high end salon in Ballsbridge in South County Dublin, Ana-Maria began working in Dublin's most prestigious beauty emporium: The Grooming Rooms. After only five months in her new role Ana-Maria represented the company on Ireland's national broadcasting channel RTE as a guest hairdresser.
In 2014 Fashion TV published her outstanding hairstyles in their Fashion Pro gallery.
